Most people know Redwood as home to the tallest trees on Earth. But the Parks also protect vast prairies, oak woodlands, wild rivers, and 40 miles of rugged coastline. People have lived in this verdant landscape since time immemorial. Together, the National Park Service and California State Parks are managing and restoring these lands for the inspiration, enjoyment, and education of all.
Sites 62 - 68 is closed indefinitely for water line repairs. Additionally, the trail that runs from the south end of the campground to the Elk Prairie Trail/Davison Trail will also be closed. Please be cautious around all construction.

From October 9-23, the Klamath Section of the Coastal Trail is closed from its northern intersection with the Yurok Loop Trail, eastbound to the trail intersection leading to Lagoon Creek Parking and Wilson Beach.

The Newton B. Drury Parkway is closed to vehicles on the first Saturday of each month from October to May for Hike and Bike Day. The parkway closes on the Friday night before the event and reopens Sunday afternoon.
